The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.
SASSA will be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated SRD Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office read more committed to service the area every day. The support issue created for intervention activities a large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
